Walk
Soul, take to the fields,
stroll among the wild lilies.
Step. Pause. Breathe. Repeat.
Tiptoe
O such tender snares!
Inch toward the morning glories,
offer a bared sole.
Kneel
At first light, sink down,
touch the dew, then your eyelids,
breastbone, throat. Now . . . speak.
